Two Dodge Challengers For a Lifetime
Description:In 1974, while going to school at Idaho State University I saw a Dodge Challenger on a used car lot that I loved but thought there was no way my dad would agree to help me get it.
Mr. HEMI & Mrs. HEMI
Description:When I was 15 years old, I saw the commercial for the new 1966 Dodge Charger during the Rose Bowl. That car was a winner! My friends were buying other makes and models but I was going to join the "Dodge Rebellion" and become a Dodge Boy. I ordered my silver '66 Charger with the 383 engine as I could not afford the extra money needed for the new street HEMI® setup. The car arrived in March 1966 but it had to sit for another month until I turned 16 and took my driver's license test in April.
Mopar Diecast Dedication!
Description:I can't recall exactly when I began collecting the die cast cars; we have two boys and we would buy them the Hot Wheels or Matchbox vehicles. As I discovered the Chrysler brand cars I would pick them up for myself. The first larger 1:18 scale car I purchased was a nice red 1969 Dodge Charger R/T which coincidentally turned out to be the muscle car I ended up buying.
Big Wag
Description:We found this 1977 Jeep® Wagoneer through a family friend that has a small collection of full size Jeep Brand vehicles. My dad bought 4 Jeep Brand vehicles from his friend, a white 87 or 88 Grand Wagoneer that was sold a few years ago, a J10 pick up that was also sold, this 77 Wag and a 77 Chief S that may be the next project.
Ready to Resto!
Description:"Everything in my life revolves around my Charger. Everyone who knows me, knows my Charger."
