What can Mopar do to give your car a makeover? Look no further than the Mopar ’13 Dodge Dart.

This limited-edition Dart – only 500 will be built – works the Mopar parts and accessories catalog to transform from smart-looking sedan to bad-ass street machine. And even if you don’t get one of the special Darts, you can get many of its upgrades for your ride.

You’ll easily spot the Mopar ’13 Dart by its Pitch Black exterior color, accented by an offset racing stripe in Mopar Blue that runs from nose to tail. Adding to the sinister look are a front chin spoiler, rear diffuser and decklid spoiler. The 18-inch black aluminum wheels, with Mopar center caps, are backed by a premium brake package with slotted rotors.

The engine bay holds a turbocharged and intercooled 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 160 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. That power flows to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. For proper handling, the Mopar ’13 Dart’s ride height is lowered 7 millimeters and the power steering calibration is revised for a sportier feel.

Mopar attitude has the cabin covered, too. It starts with Katzkin leather seat covers – Mopar Blue with black accents for the driver and black with blue accents for the passengers. There’s also leather covers for the steering wheel and shift knob, and blue stitching accents all around. The look is topped off with a bright pedal kit, door sill guards and blue accent lighting around the instrument panel and center stack. And the Mopar ’13 Dodge won’t leave you short of power with the addition of a wireless charging mat for your smartphone.

The Mopar ’13 Dodge Dart joins a family of Mopar special editions that also includes the Dodge Charger and Challenger, and the Chrysler 300. Each was built in small numbers, so you don’t see them often. But when you do, the Mopar attitude is there at first glance.

If you’ve got to have a Mopar ’13 Dodge Dart, go see your Dodge dealer but do it soon. If it inspires you to give your own car the some Mopar attitude, check out the catalog of parts and accessories designed and engineered for your ride at mopar.com.
