Mopar takes performance to the next level with the all-new Scat Pack 2 and Scat Pack 3.

The performance upgrade kits, made for 5.7L HEMI engine-equipped Dodge Challengers and Dodge Chargers, increase your get-up-and-go by up to 75 horsepower. Now you can take the power from the road to the track, as these kits exceed the original estimated power capability thanks to some serious engineering know-how.

Scat Pack 2

The Mopar Scat Pack 2 is made for gearheads who want to give their already powerful HEMI engine an extra competitive edge. This kit can provide as much as a 56 horsepower boost from the stock engine, giving you that extra power to make the engine roar and hit a higher top speed. It can also provide a 30 lb-ft of torque upgrade from the stock engine, allowing drivers to accelerate faster. The kit achieves this through a new Mopar Performance camshaft that works in conjunction with the components of the Scat Pack 1 kit. The performance camshaft allows the engine some more breathing room to deliver additional acceleration.

The Scat Pack 2 also includes a set of Mopar Performance valve springs, tie bars, upgraded pushrods and gaskets, which all work together to stabilize the valvetrain. This allows the vehicle to take advantage of the performance camshaft when running the vehicle at racing speeds. Plus, while many vehicle modifications can affect the factory warranty, it’s preserved with this kit. Two Scat Pack 2 badges round out this power-packed kit, so the competition will know that you mean business.

The valve springs are the culmination of over a year’s worth of design, engineering and testing. Mopar’s mission was to develop a truly drop-in valve spring that could control the valvetrain when aftermarket camshafts are installed, while still maintaining durability. Upgrading the camshaft with stock springs installed can cause the valves to no longer close all the way, which affects engine power and can break the springs. Here at Mopar, we love a challenge. It took a lot of determination, but the hard-working Mopar engineers got the job done!

The new springs feature the same high-strength material that you’ll find in the Dodge Viper and are even built on the same production lines. Our engineers dug deep and used a FCA-developed strategy to make the best of a difficult task, as hundreds of potential spring designs were studied before a single spring was actually built.

The Scat Pack 2 performance kit for 2011-2015 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger vehicles with the 5.7L HEMI is now available for a MSRP of $1,895 (labor not included).

Scat Pack 3

The Mopar Scat Pack 3 performance kit is made for the competitor who lives and breathes extreme performance and wants the ultimate bragging rights on the track.

It’s the final building block in the 5.7L Scat Pack family, putting the finishing touches on the boosts provided by Scat Pack 1 and 2. Scat Pack 3 pushes performance to a level that any gearhead will envy, with the addition of new Mopar Performance CNC-ported cylinder heads, Mopar hi-flow manifolds and hi-flow catalysts. Flowing more air and gas into the engine gives racers increased acceleration. Drivers will bask in the exhilaration of up to 75 more horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque with this made-for-the-track upgrade.

The performance upgrade kit includes everything needed to install the performance parts: a gasket set, exhaust manifolds, exhaust adapter, mounting brackets and hardware. And, of course, two Scat Pack 3 badges are included to intimidate the competition. Like the Scat Pack 2, the Scat Pack 3 kit provides this power boost while maintaining the factory warranty.

The Scat Pack 3 for 2011-2015 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger vehicles is now available for a MSRP of $4,495 (labor not included).

For a detailed look at the performance boosts that the Scat Pack 2 and 3 bring to the table, check out the charts below. These numbers were tested using Prefix Arrow Racing’s dyno, which measures engine characteristics like torque and power. The upgrades were measured against a production 5.7L Dodge Challenger manual engine:
